Advance purchase Ticket Prices:

Adults from £12.50 (accompanied children under 16yrs can enter FREE with a paying adult)

To book advance tickets and for all prices etc – just go to the TICKETS PAGE on this site.

Do I have to specify which day I'm buying my advance tickets for?

No, the print at home advance tickets are non-date specific, but they're only valid once. That means you can buy a ticket and choose to come on either the Sat or Sun, but not both (unless you buy two tickets, which you're welcome to do of course!). Advance print at home tickets are scanned at the entrance and, once scanned, cannot be used again.

Is the show 'the same' on both days?

More or less yes, the show is the same both days apart from that - Edd China only appears on the Sunday.

On The Door Ticket Prices:

Adults £15.00 (accompanied children under 16yrs can enter FREE with a paying adult)

I've bought tickets online, but haven't received an email with them attached?

99% of the time in such cases the customer has entered the wrong email address. Occasionally the email has been sent correctly and the customer's email provider has identified it as spam/junk and has swept it into their spam or junk mail file (so please check those files too). If you definitely can't find your tickets then do not worry! We'll sort it out. Just contact us.

How much can I expect to pay for car parking?

You can expect to pay absolutely nothing. Zero. Parking is totally FREE!

Where is the car park?

EventCity has 3000 car parking spaces of their own OR, you can park in the Trafford Centre (anywhere) and walk over to EventCity should you need to. Sometimes this is just as quick/close.

NOTE: If you get to Phoenix Way (in front of EventCity) and the sign says 'EventCity Car Park Full' then (rather than queue up just to be turned around), save time, just go and immediately park in the Trafford Centre instead. Nowhere on the Trafford Centre site is more than around a 10 min walk away from the show! Find a space anywhere in the Trafford Centre and walk over, rather than queue up in a 'one-in-one-out' queue just to be 2 mins closer.

Can I come and go all day?

Yes you can! Just make sure that when you exit the halls at any time, you have your hand stamped and this then allows re-entry throughout that day (stamps changed daily so, if you like it, you can choose not to wash it off – but it won’t get you in the next day!).

What's Disabled access like?

It's good! All the halls are 'on the flat' - no stairs and access in and out is also good. Obviously there are a limited number of disabled parking spaces which are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Is there an ATM/Cash Machine onsite?

Yes, there's one in the foyer and one in Hall 3 by the rally out/in (BUT - they'll charge you and because they get heavily used, they don't always have it when you need it - so we advise to bring cash with you). I if for ome reason these aren't working or are empty then of course you can always nip over to the Trafford Centre and use the ATMs in there.

Is photography allowed?

Yes it is.

My partner/significant other just isn’t interested in cars at all – is there anything there for the rest of the family to do there while I enjoy the show?

There’s nothing worse than seeing an enthusiast at a show, all keen to explore and get under the bonnet of every car, dragging an unwilling partner round with a face like a wet weekend! No-one’s having fun in this scenario are they? Luckily this show has a solution…

Right opposite (literally, just across the road), is the enormous TRAFFORD CENTRE with hundreds of shops, eateries, a cinema and all sorts of other things going on – plenty to keep the non-enthusiast/s in the family happy, while the enthusiast gets to enjoy their time at the show! There’s even LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, a SEA LIFE CENTRE a GOLF Centre and a SKI & SNOWBOARD Centre boasting the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope. Everyone’s a winner! Make a visit to The Footman James Classic Car Show Manchester part of your great family weekend-away!

If you fancy making a weekend of it, there are several Premier Inns right on-site too.

See the dedicated page – but essentially if you just head for the Trafford Centre, Manchester, you will find EventCity simply by driving around the extremities of the site (it’s almost impossible to drive around the Trafford Centre site and NOT come across it at some point). There are brown signposts to Event City on many of the roundabouts around the Trafford Centre. It’s just off ‘Peel Circle’ within the Trafford Centre close to Barton Square. Opposite are BHS and Next.  If in doubt, it’s the huge building with Event City written on it!

The postcode (for those ‘always accurate Sat-Navs’) is M41 7TB

Is it all indoors?

Yes, apart from the Rally action, which is just outside.

There will be a range of food and beverage available in the halls. Event City has it’s own catering in-house OR don’t forget that just over the road in the Trafford Centre there is a truly massive range of eateries to choose from. Remember – you’re NOT marooned in the halls with no choice. You are more than welcome to come and go all day exactly as you please, just ensure you get a pass-out stamp so you can re-enter. There’s even a handy drive-thru Starbucks and Crispy Crème donut place just up the road (where the organisers spent a small fortune on caffeine and deep fried sugary dough-based products last year).

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs, other than dogs for the disabled, are not permitted (mainly for the safety and comfort of the animal and also to reduce the potential for accidents).
