Before you get lost in the detail below, you can probably save yourself a lot of time and jargon by just reading this first bit - it tells you all you really need to know:
We have no interest in selling your data. None whatsoever. We never sell data (never have, never will) and we only share data that you allow us to share (and even then, this would only ever be with an extremely limited number of organisations and only with those who you would/should be interested to hear from in the connected industries or hobbies of events you're interested in or have visited).
If you have registered for our e-mailing list, or have bought tickets to our events in the past, if you currently exhibit with us, or have exhibited with us in the past, or if you are a business involved in the industries we organise events in/for in where we feel there is a legitimate interest to both parties; then we will occasionally contact you with updates and news about the show/s (etc). We have no interest at all in emailing/contacting people who don't want to hear from us, or where it's just not relevant. If you no longer want to receive these communications then just unsubscribe, either by using the unsubscribe link which will be at the bottom of any bulk emails we send out (generally to email list subscribers/previous show visitors/current ticket holders), or reply to any non-bulk emails (generally, exhibitors/prospective exhibitors or commercial partners/prospects) as you would any other with a request to unsubscribe/please be removed from our database, or just contact us directly via the Contact US page on our website/s. Simple as that.

AMR Events Ltd as a data controller and a data processor
EU data protection law makes a distinction between organisations that process Personal Data for their own purposes (known as "data controllers") and organisations that process personal data on behalf of other organisations (known as "data processors"). If you have a question or complaint about how your Personal Data is handled, these should always be directed to the relevant data controller since they are the ones with primary responsibility for your Personal Data.
AMR Events Ltd may act as either a data controller or a data processor in respect of your Personal Data, depending on the circumstances.
For example, if you create book exhibition space with us AMR Events Ltd will be a data controller in respect of the Personal Data that you provide as part of your account. We will also be a data controller of the Personal Data that we have obtained about the use of the Applications or AMR Events Ltd. Properties, which could relate to Sponsors, Exhibitors or Consumers. We use this to conduct research and analysis to help better understand and serve Users of the Services as well as to improve our platform and provide you with more targeted recommendations about events we think may be of interest to you.
However, if you register for an event as a Consumer, or buy a ticket, we will process your Personal Data to help administer that event on behalf of our events (for example, sending confirmation, promotional and feedback emails, etc.) and to help the us target, and understand the success of, their event and event planning (for example, providing event reports, using analytics to gain insights into the effectiveness of various sales channels, etc.).
